Holly is an amazing four-year-old dog in a home with a person who can no longer keep up with her. None of that is her fault and this hurts me, but I have to focus on what's best for her. I got Holly at a little over a year old through a courtesy post at a local rescue. Her previous owners said she was fully trained and had perfect recall but needed more room to roam. I live in a rural area, so I thought this would be a perfect match. She is untrained and has zero recall. But she is a sweet and happy dog who loves all people and does pretty well with other dogs and cats, though she does like to chase the cats. I would love to see Holly go to a home with someone more active (my health has deteriorated) and who can do a better job training her or working with her personality quirks. Like I said, she is sweet, funny, and happy and loves to be outside. She loves any and all people and makes a terrible guard dog, but a good alert dog! I know she will be the perfect dog for someone.
