Ben is currently in his foster home and waiting to be adopted! If you would like to meet Ben, please send us your contact information and we will connect you with his foster home! From the Foster Home: Ben is a champion snuggler and a friend to everyone he meets. He is very affectionate and playful and enjoys giving kisses. He has done well with all visitors and when out in public meeting strangers, even children. He is playful and loves chewing on toys, but he is not destructive with household objects (just the toys, so no stuffies!). He is very strong on a leash but can walk well, he is working on his leash manners. He would do well with a young active singleton, couple, or a family with kids over 8 (he is very strong and his energy may be too much for younger children). His favorite thing is to be with his people, but he does well when crated at night and for days at work. He has done well with all other dogs he's met, but it is best to not have cats or other small free roaming animals in the home. He would love a home with a sturdy, solid fence in the yard since he can get distracted easily by other dogs passing. He is a great dog who would love a family of his very own. Ben is still recovering from orthopedic surgery and will need some specific care - this will be discussed with our shelter veterinarian at the time of adoption.The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DHPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), and Strongid (wormer).Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online.If you'd like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-XXXX.
