Torrance arrived at the shelter as a stray, he was found to be microchipped but when his owners were contacted, they no longer wanted him. Torrance is 4 years old, 35 pounds and is a standard schnauzer. He takes some time to warm up to new people but can be coaxed with cookies. Torrance does not show well in his kennel but once he is out, he is a much happier guy! He can be hand shy around his head and does not like fast movements, due to this an adult only home would be best for Torrance. He did well with being groomed here at the shelter and will need someone that understands he will need regular grooming to keep him from getting matted. Torrance would love to have a second chance at a forever home and would love to find his soon! We highly recommend that he go to a home that has experience with his breed. Torrance is dog selective.
