Leaf is a sweet but timid guy at first. He will need a home that can give him time to adjust to his new environment slowly and understands that he is not a very brave guy. He is around 3-4 years old and weighs 44 pounds. Leaf arrived at the shelter as a stray but was already neutered and has a tattoo that indicates that he was neutered. Sadly no one ever came forward for Leaf so now he is looking for a loving forever home! Leaf can be dog selective and seems to prefer your one and only canine companion! He did okay with the tester cat, but he was nervous in the new room, so we are not sure how he really feels about a kitty companion at this time. Due to his timidness Leaf would do best in a home with older children that understand that he needs some time and space to adjust to a new home. When he is comfortable with you Leaf is a loving, playful guy that just wants to be close to you! He enjoys going on walks and going to the play yard to run and play here at the shelter. He knows sit and knows how to give his paw! There may be other tricks that he knows but we haven't figured them out yet. Leaf loves getting cookies!
