She's new to NYC and loves exploring the sights and smells of the city. She is still getting used to the loud noises like buses and trucks & can be skittish if someone approaches her too quickly. At her age, she still has a little bit of puppy energy, but still loves to relax and cuddle on the couch with you. She can happily nap after a quick morning walk but also has plenty of energy for longer walks or even runs. Scarlette loved running in Central Park - but thinks the big dogs (read: horses) are a little scary. She's curious and smart - but thankfully has no interest in stealing socks or shoes! Scarlette is a true velcro dog - wanting to be wherever her people are, always making sure to have her head or a paw touching her foster mom. She's already a pro on Zoom calls - poking her head up from your lap to quietly say hi to all meeting attendees. She is crate trained & housebroken - and is quick to learn new things like sit and come. Scarlette is sweet, docile, loves to give kisses & super food motivated! Scarlette loves to play fetch with her Lamb Chop squeaky toy and her rope toy, easily dropping toys without any resource guarding.
