Adopt Maggie a Brown/Chocolate - with White Rhodesian Ridgeback / Boxer / Mixed

Maggie looks like Scooby-doo so we call her Maggie-moo. We sheltered her (from Campbell County Animal Shelter) about a year old and now she is 3 years old (April 1st or May 31st). She has watched 2 babies grow to toddlers. She is great with kids and family pets (cats, other dogs and a bunny). She LOVES to play but can get overwhelming at times for other dogs (older dogs or at the dog park) so we just give her crate time if the burst of energy keeps lasting (she is crate trained). She is potty trained but it seems her anxiety gets the best of her if she is left alone for longer than 5 hours. Needs to be walked or outside daily to make sure she poops (because of being an African dog the cold and wet can make her second guess if she wants to poop in grass). Now that she is 3 (reproductive age can do this to dogs) she gets protective of other dogs not in her family (walking and at times at the dog park). Not sure if a shock collar would help but we just leave the situation if it comes up.
