This fellow is a fun loving, energetic, sweetheart who loves to play with toys and a good behind scratching. At 5 and a half, he is a bit shy when you first meet him but after he warms up, he will easily let you know he wants to play with (slightly pitiful) whines, let you know when someone is at the door, and follow you around thehouse.He loves children. They are his pack. My kids have fawned over him, played with his ears, chased him in the yard, and been in his face without him flinching. He likes to run back and forth at the fence with the neighbor’sdog but hasn’t been in a setting to play with other dogs. It’s best he is the only dog. He does chase the stray cats and squirrels out of the yard - so no feline friends.He is incredibly trainable. Since I’ve had him (about 3 months), he has learned to walk on a training leash (andnot be scared of the leash or collars), he now knows the words walk, treat, bedtime, and off.He is an anxious dog that wants you home with him.
