River is a purebred Chesapeake Bay Retriever. River will turn 3 June 5th. River is a loyal dog and listens well to one owner, but is stubborn and likes attention. River is best served in a place with a back area to be able to run freely and roam a bit. River enjoys the woods in Minnesota. River loves playing fetch, especially when it includes water. River was meant to be a hunting dog, but never received the training required to be good at it. River is a good retriever, if she knows where the toy went. Over all River is a good dog, but struggles with our other pets and limited access of exercise.
