Delilah is precious! She was originally adopted from Saving Grace by a member of law enforcement. He gave her a great home and trained her. She listens very well, is house trained, and will even run with you! Her owner lost his battle with cancer just over 3 years ago. His family was unable to provide her with a decent home. She is energetic and with the family in grief, the home was no longer a good fit for her. She became an outside dog in a very small yard. I was up visiting my family and walking my dog in the neighborhood when I noticed her through the fence. She was always wagging her tail! I eventually convinced the family to let me and my boyfriend take her. She was about 10 lbs. under weight and behind on shots. We have had her for just over a month now. I would love to keep her but my dog and her do not get along. They have fought a couple of times and now we mostly have to keep them apart. She is great with kids! but not all dogs. She needs a backyard or an active person!
