Banjo is an amazing dog! Highly intelligent, easily trainable, affectionate and very intuitive. He loves people. Be cautious with new dogs. It takes him awhile to warm up. He would be ok in a home with one other dog that was medium to low energy. He is kind to cats but his size can startle shy cats. He’s a great watchdog. Will alert you but not an excessive barker. He loves the car! He likes to walk. I recommend a Gentle Leader in case you stir up critters he may pull to catch their scent. Completely housebroken. Not destructive at all- no crate needed. He falls into routine easily. Does not beg for food and obeys commands. He is very relaxed and calm, he greets you gently at the door when you return home. I have had the privilege of fostering Banjo for 2 weeks and he is something special. Beautiful, sweet animal. I would definitely keep him but with my work hours the situation is not ideal for either of us long term. He deserves a loving family with lots of time and space for him.
