We got Poppy a little over a week ago from a shelter in South LA. We were going to meet her but didn’t have the intention of adopting, but once we met her we fell in love. She’s the friendliest dog I’ve ever met- she rolls over on her back to everyone. We took her home and realized quickly we aren’t in the state of our lives that honestly reflects being good dog parents. This 1 year and 1 month old pup deserves THE WORLD. She is loving, patient, smart, and eager to please. She is house trained and never barks. If having a dog made sense for me right now she would be my dream dog!
