This sweet dog is Betty. She is a 1.5-year-old female pit mix who was originally rescued off the street in West Dallas. In our short time with her we have come to know her as a very sweet and docile dog. She loves to sunbathe, go on walks, and chill in a cozy dog bed. She has done well when playing with our other dog (a male corgi) but can be slightly nervous around new dogs. She isn't used to interacting with cats, but this is something she could adjust to over time in a forever home. She loves to be pet and scratched and is just seeking affection from anyone kind enough to give it to her. We think she would be great as the only dog in a household but has proven she can interact and live with another dog as well if they get along. Please help her. She deserves a chance at a forever home, and unfortunately it just isn't able to be ours. We can answer any other questions anyone has, but we hope someone can adopt her before we have to take her back to the shelter.
