Barbie got out for the adoption event yesterday and came home with me to chill for the night since she wasn’t picked. 😔 Why is she still not adopted? Not even fostered? She is INCREDIBLE!! She has been in boarding for a year, waiting to be adopted after surviving the e-list. This mighty-mini-monkey is 😍 precious. She has been such a good girl. She hung out with us last night and all day today. She got to see “GiGi” and eat peanut butter cookies with my Lucas. She got lots of hugs and kisses there. She curled up in a tiny ball in my lap on the couch and went straight to sleep. 😴 Has she ever even been on a couch before? She was one pooped-out-pup. She slept in her crate all night, sound asleep. When we got up and went out back, she ran and sniffed everything. She came when I called her and would wrap her front legs around me and just squeeze and 💋. She loves the tennis ball!🎾 She decides when to run with it and bounce around like a jumping bean, or let you have the privilege of throwing again for her to chase. She is super gentle and very polite. She did amazingly well with my 7-year-old and my mom’s little Yorkie old man. She wasn’t mouthy at the neighbors dogs nor did she get too wound up when the squirrels decided to check her out. She was good at the event around all of the people. She behaved with the dogs, even when it was tough. Some visiting dogs had less manners than others, and she kept pretty cool. We went to Pet Supermarket and she sniffed the ENTIRE store until she found that PERFECT treat. 😝 I let her choose a toy and bird watch. We left and went to Home Depot. She stole the show! I handed out 11 business cards to people that stopped and wanted to know more about her after loving on her and admiring her. She even got kiddo kisses. After a quick trip to Lowe’s, she got a cheeseburger and a stroll in the park before heading back to the boarder. She had an amazing and exhausting day! She couldn’t be happier. She needs this from someone to love her daily. Is it you? She is small, easy to handle, loves to snuggle, gentle, playful, and pretty dang chill. Not to mention, one GORGEOUS Brindle. She would 💜 her very own forever home. She still needs a FOSTER until then. She deserves a soft, and quiet place to land each night. That’s her Dream House! Please consider this 30 pound love bug. She is all the rage! All she wants is your love and some playtime. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and fully vetted. She is heartworm negative and super healthy.
