Wallace is a purebred Toy Australian Shepherd (from Lulu's Lil Aussies in Stockton, Utah). He was born on July 22, 2016. Wallace has been with me since he was 6-weeks old, and he is almost 8 years old now. He is fully grown and weighs 12 pounds. He is a very sweet dog, but from day one, he has been very anxious. He does not do well with other people or other dogs. Once he gets to know you, he is incredibly loving and loyal. In particular, he takes more quickly to women and less physically imposing people. We have tried a number of things to help with his anxiety and behavioral issues, including two different dog training courses (one of which was an intensive 10-week course). We have used Herm Sprenger collars and shock collars. We have seen the vet, who prescribed two different medications (Prozac and trazodone), neither of which helped. We now have a 2-year-old and a 3-week-old and his behavior has worsened. We can no longer keep him, and we are looking for a better home.
