Location: Eagleville, PA. Hi my name is Rhea and I am a sweet, sensitive soulful little girl! You could say I’m sweet, with a teeny bit of spice and a whole lot of nice. I’m a 33 pound 6 month old cattledog mix. I was left at the shelter after all my siblings were adopted or rescued and I’m not sure why because I really am sweet as pie and so eager to please! I’m a Velcro girl for sure and prefer being with you and your dogs at all times. I’ll even curl up on your feet so you know just how much I love you! I’m working hard on my house manners and I love being praised for being the bestest girl ever when I do my business outside. But like all babies if you forget and I get to playing----sometimes I forget. I am learning to be crate trained and will happily go in my crate with a soft bed in it (I do prefer luxury whenever I can get it). I am great on leash as I walk daily with my foster brothers. I’m super friendly and love all people and dogs. I just need to be properly introduced to new people and other dogs as I tend to be very shy at first. But don’t worry, once I know you are safe and kind, I want nothing but love and to give you kisses! I like playing with my one year old foster brother (we play tug of war, dig in the dirt and chase each other) and I understand the boundaries my senior foster brother has set. If I get nervous, I will paw at your legs as what I really want is to be picked up and held so that I can give you some sloppy kisses until I feel safe. I tend to herd my people and my toys, I can’t help it, it’s in my breed or I just want to make sure I do my job protecting. I’m learning sign language and the verbal command for sit. I’m very proud of that and eager to learn more tricks so I can get more treats! I also love to cuddle and definitely prefer to be with my people and dogs on the couch or a big cushy bed. Given the chance, I’ll curl up next to you and take a nap! I love car rides too! I love to use my nose to smell all the things so I’m always up for new adventures! Toys are a favorite past time for me…I love to rip them up. I also love a good chew bone, food puzzles and frozen kongs too. I am a smart, fun loving girl who will make you laugh. I have a medium energy level and will likely be about 40-ish pounds when fully grown. I will need to be exercised daily and would do best with people or family who are active indoors and out. I am a terrific puppy and will make a great addition to family with children ages 5 and up who understand and respect my boundaries as I get nervous and tend to herd around toddlers and babies. I am up to date on shots, heartworm & flea/tick preventive and am spayed. I am currently being fostered in Eagleville, PA.
