Ada, a 10-year-old spayed dog, is loving and protective, has arthritis and an allergy, both managed with medication. My sister and I will cover her prescriptions, checkups, and end-of-life care. She struggles with stairs due to the arthritis but enjoys short walks. We live in Cedar Park, TX. Ada was rescued after being abandoned by her first owners, leading to a scar around her neck from a tight collar. She prefers a harness. Likely a Bull terrier/Basenji mix, she doesn’t do well with other animals or children. She also gets very anxious during thunderstorms. Ada was primarily a guard dog for our Deaf mother who recently passed. I’m moving in June, and my sister’s husband is allergic, Ada needs a new home. A family friend tried but had cats Ada didn’t get along with. We would love to see her go to a new home with people who can provide the necessary care she needs.
