Adopt Jack a Tan/Yellow/Fawn - with White Mutt / Mixed dog in Portland

Jack is sweet boy rescued fromTexas about 4 years ago. He gets along well with cats and kids and most dogs. He loves rough and tumble play and fetch though he doesn’t always actually fetch. He is a super “Velcro” boy and is happiest at your feet but also loves loves a good hike or walk. Leash skills are so so. Recall is mostly ok unless there is something super compelling. He eats everything and at about 70lbs can reach the counter tops but won’t do it if you are watching. He is mostly well behaved but has some anxiety from some early life trauma. He is nervous going through doors and with certain men will bark growl and hide. Not all men. Just some. Unfortunately one of them is my husband and after three years, he is better but not over it. We are not in a rush - looking for a good home where he can love and be loved.
