Adopt Carti a Tan/Yellow/Fawn American Staffordshire Terrier / American Pit Bull

Carti was found last Aug.2023 with his entire litter behind a gas station in Atlanta. They were extremely malnourished with soars covering their stomachs and tails. They were estimated to be around 3 months old when found, making Carti 1 years old now. The plan was always to temporarily foster him until he was healthy and whole, but over the last year he was become a part of the family. However, I no longer can support him and tend to his needs as I will soon begin medical school. Carti is a happy and playful dog but is not highly active so is perfect for those looking for a healthy balance between the two. He is fairly anxious, likely caused from his trauma, and thus gets overwhelmed in stressful environments. He has never shown any signs of aggression or deviant behavior and is fairly well trained/house broken. I am hoping he find a home that can continue to nourish his development with love and compassion as he has had a rough life.
