Adopt Delilah a Brindle - with White Mutt / Mixed dog in Indianapolis

Delilah is a 2 year old mystery mix. She was adopted from a rescue when she was 8 weeks old. Delilah is an incredibly sweet, smart, and loving dog, and would make a great addition to the right family. However, she does have behavioral issues that would need to be addressed by an experienced adopter. She is fearful of new people and other animals, and will often bark and growl if she feels threatened. However, she will warm up to new people with time and patience. She also has severe separation anxiety and does not do well being left alone for long periods. Delilah would do best in a home with no other animals or children, with a family who is willing to work through her behavioral issues. She will also require a large backyard or fenced area to run around in, as she is very high energy. Delilah unfortunately hasn’t adapted well to apartment life with us, and we feel she would have a better life with a loving family who has more time and resources to dedicate to her training.
