Missy is a 3 year old Pointer/Border Collie mix. Missy was given to me by another family who had a baby and taking care of Missy was too much for them. I've had her for two years. I bought a house and was able to walk her everyday. I got a fenced backyard and that was helpful. She needs to have plenty of space to run and play. She needs a job. We have chickens in the backyard and she wants to herd them which has not been good for the chickens. She comes by it honestly being a bird dog. She is the guardian of the yard. She has showed potential with herding goats. Missy is friendly and wants to please. She is very good with children and other dogs. She loves playing with toys and chewing on bones. One of main purposes of getting her was to help with foster children. She is great with them but her main objective is being outdoors.
