We adopted sweet, silly, spunky Pixie from Elk Grove animal shelter in December. We love her so much. We have 2 biological children. In March we unexpectedly began a journey to adopt 3 more children. We are looking for ways to reduce other responsibilities. We think Pixie is wonderful and yet we also think she would be happier with a family who could give her more attention and outdoor time- she's strong and fast and smart and loves to run! Do you think you might be able to help us? Attached are photos of Pixie. The shelter thought she may be a lab and Anatolian shepherd mix and told us she was 2 years old. She is safe with children of all ages, safe with our 2 cats although she tries to play with them and they don't love it, and hasn't met another dog or human she doesn't like. She is very loving and is a great snuggle buddy. She simply needs more space to be able to run around and someone that can give her more attention than what we can give her.
