Meet Josie! Josie is a beautiful former breeder momma. She is a young 3 1/2 year old looking for an active family that will include her in their adventures. She is loving and seeks human affection. Josie has been good with all of the dogs and people that she has met while in foster care. We believe she would be fine with children, but because of the knock down factor, older children might be better. Josie will need a family that will continue to work on basic manners and training with her. She has adapted well to our routine and is a quick learner. She is food motivated and eager to please. Josie is your typical young lab. She loves to be loved and can be very gentle and cuddly. She is also an energetic, playful dog who will need daily exercise. She can definitely be a little rough when she plays, so she will need a dog that can handle her or correct her if she is being too much. Once she has her exercise for the day, she loves nothing more than to snuggle up with FM or the resident dog and take a nap. We think she would be a good dog to run or hike with. She is happy to go anywhere with you and we believe she would be a great travel companion.
