Opal is a total sweetheart. I adopted her from the Houston Humane Society in May of 2022. Sixteen days later, my mom was admitted into the hospital and never returned home. Opal was my companion during that stressful season and has been a true companion ever since. She is goofy. She loves squeaky toys. She seeks to destroy them so please gift her with all things HEAVY CHEWER friendly. She experiences the world with her nose and mouth. I can't tell you how much stuff I've had to wrestle out of her mouth. LOLShe regularly attends doggie day care so she is acclimated to be around other dogs. She likes daily walks 2 to 4 times a day. Opal will get attached to her new family, so get used to her following you around the house just to sit next to you. She is used to being on the furniture. She will jump on you when she's excited that you came back home!!!!! She loves being scratched behind her ears and belly rubs! She's a whole ham! You will love her.
