Smokey is 3 years old in June and he is part Blue Heeler and Labordoodle. He weighs 53 lbs. He is well trained. Smokey is a high energy dog and needs room to run. He loves the outdoors. We live in an apartment setting and we don’t have the room for him to run. The main caregiver has type 1 diabetes and just got over colon cancer. The caregiver can’t get him out to exercise as much as he needs. Smokey is leashed and crate trained. We have a crate that is his “man cave.” We are willing to give away the crate to adopted parents. He listens off leash. He is very smart. He sits and lays down on command. He’s an awesome frisbee player. He will catch and retrieve all day long. We just had him neutered and shots are up to date. My heart aches that we have to surrender him. I work full time with a lot of overtime so I can’t give him the time either. We have fed him Victors dog food since we got him at 3 months. He has no health issues. We also have 6 months supply of flee, tick heartworm.
