Whiskey was rescued about a month ago from a situation where the owner moved to another country and left him behind tied up in the backyard. The neighbors had been feeding him over the fence and whiskey was left outside with no shelter in the middle of winter. I got in touch with the owners and they were willing to surrender if I could pick him up. Since he has been with me he has made a lot of progress with basic manner training. He is a total goofball that needs plenty of room to run and just needs a lot of love. I have three kids and he does great with them, however he does resource guard with toys. With proper training this can be corrected. Whiskey has met my other dogs but gets overstimulated easy which results in reactive behavior. He would be best in a home where he is the only dog. I believe he would do extremely well with a proper trainer. He is a very loving but he is used to being with just one person.
