Welcome Thor! 🩶🩶 When Thor woke up yesterday he had no idea what the day had in store for him. He had his usual breakfast, a daily walk along with playtime in the yard with his volunteer friends and went back into his kennel for his afternoon nap. But something was different, later in the day his volunteer friend who he normally sees on Saturday showed up in front of his kennel run. He looked at her confused yet excited. He got a new collar and walked out a different door. It was not his usual routine. He kept looking up wondering what was happening. Then the hatch opened of the SUV and at that moment he had no hesitation to hop right in. Thor was incredibly quiet and calm in the car. With the help of an amazing foster, we were able to give Thor his well deserved freedom ride right into a home. He checked out his new yard and ate his dinner. As soon as he was done with dinner, he laid down, closed his eyes and let out the BIGGEST sigh you’ve ever heard. It was such relief. He had a great night and a wonderful day! We pulled Thor from the Northern Ocean County Anjmal Facility in Jackson. Thor found himself without a home when his mama was forced to give him up. He’s under 2 years old and is very smart, eager to learn and a great listener. He is the perfect package! Thor will be looking for a forever home but we will give him a few weeks to settle in while we learn more about him. He also needs to put on some extra weight.
