Mooska (A134745) is a 4-year-old husky x heeler mix who weighed just over 40lbs at intake, and should weigh 45-50lbs at ideal weight!05/25/24 This handsome guy is Mooska! Mooska arrived at the shelter after his previous owners realized they could not provide adequate care for him. Mooska can be timid in new situations, so he is looking for a patient home that can help him with his socialization. He also arrived at the shelter a little underweight, so he would love a home that will help him get some meat on his bones! We do not know much about how Mooska does with kids or other animals. He reportedly lived with cats in his previous home, but we do not know how they got along. Mooska was said to be especially timid around men. Fear Free Pets has a lot of great resources on approaching and interacting with timid dogs that we highly recommend checking out! Mooska will also be going home with Calming Care, which our shelter vet is recommending he remain on long term to help with his nerves.
