Adopt Roscoe a Brindle German Shepherd Dog / Mixed dog in Whittier

Roscoe belongs to a family member in Whittier, CA. I used to live in the house but I have been moved out for 2 years. He is a very obedient loving dog. Today I was in town and came to see him. He is living in horrible conditions. He had no food or water and he had patches of loose fur that have not been brushed for months. I asked for permission to take him away and I can but I can not take him home with me. I live in an apartment with 2 dogs. One is a dog reactive pitbull. I am desperate to find Roscoe a home. He needs a backyard, he has never lived inside so he would need to learn manners. He is extremely dog friendly. Please note he is not looking good right now, he has scabbed ears and is malnourished. I don’t know when the last time he had a bath or groom was but we just took him to get washed and brushed out most of his loose fur. Roscoe loves to play fetch and knows commands like sit, paw, lay down and bang (play dead). He does good on car rides and walks
