One look at Naomi's condition and you know the shelter is the only home she has ever known. She was an owner surrender and we are glad to be caring for her now. Her body shows only neglect but as the story so often goes, Naomi holds no grudges and is a total love. She enjoys being close and snuggly, and she's making quite an impression on the volunteers she has met so far! She leans in for affection, her paw reaching out as if to say, "please, more pets!" Naomi has been through so much and still has so much love to give. She is ready for that loving home she so deserves!Came in as an owner surrender on 4/21/24. Came in with A272789 Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL Email XXXX@cityofchicago.org for more information. The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after time for decompression for the shelter dog.
