Six years ago, my daughter and I set out to purchase an Australian, Border collie pup, which was part of a litter of 10. Our intent was to pick out the littlest girl puppy. We came home with the biggest boy pup! Rowdy picked us! This little guy rolled over on his back each time we reached in to pick up another puppy. This continued to go on, until we began giving him belly rubs in between our mission to find "our puppy." An hour later, and lots of attention given to this chubby, friendly little guy, my daughter and I agreed, he had picked us! Rowdy is the sweetest, friendliest, smartest dog I have ever known. He loves snow, playing fetch, long walks and running around our yard with his sister, Zoey. His favorite treat is peanut butter off a spoon, which is used as a reward for extra sweet behavior. He knows several tricks: Sit, Lay Down, Shake, Other Paw, Roll Over, Twirl, Army Crawl and Leave it. This dog is the best.
