Black and Tan Coonhound-Bloodhound Mix Dog for Adoption in Rustburg, Virginia, 24588 USNickname: Moose - At shelter Posted Breed: Bloodhound / Black and Tan Coonhound / Mixed (short coat). “One year old Moose was signed over to the shelter. We are told he is a Bloodhound/coonhound mix. We now have 14 hounds looking for homes. Moose, according to his human, protects his food from other dogs and humans. We have not tested him to see how extreme the issues are or to decide if he has in rehab. He sure is a nice big boy. He’s at the shelter if you’re interested. he walks OK on a leash and seems fine with other dogs without food in the mix.
