Dexter is so stinking cute, he will have more pictures coming soon! He is estimated to be about 5 years old and weighs 35 pounds. Dexter is such a nice boy who is friendly, playful, and full of love! Even though he is very connecting, he's a little unsure of the world and can be a bit hand shy when meeting new people. One of our wonderful volunteers brought her 11 year old daughter to the rescue and Dexter was very drawn to her, he just rolled on his side for pets, so sweet. He will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old, due to his hand shyness. Dexter would love nothing more than to find a forever home that he can call his own. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Dexter would love to meet them. He has a friendly approach to other dogs with a high tail and confident posture but loose. If you are interested in Dexter and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats.
