Shaggy is a really sweet and happy boy. He is almost 5 years old and 45 lbs. He's good with people, other dogs and kids. Sadly, his owner passed away and he needs a new place to call home. He would love an owner that works from home or is retired to spend the day with. Shaggy is good on the leash once he knows who is leading the walk. He is house and crate trained. He has not been tested with cats. Will you be his hero? Fill out an adoption application today!June 13, 2024, 10:33 pmAdoption processAll of our animals come fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered (if old enough), and microchipped. Puppies and kittens will be spayed/neutered and have all shots when they are old enough. There is an Adoption application, a quick phone interview to make sure it is a good fit, a meet and greet with the dog, then a home check, and an adoption contract. We ask for a $400 donation for adult dogs, and $500 for puppies at the time of adoption so that we can save other dogs from the shelter.
