More info coming on this little scoundrel as I assess him. He's had a hard life in his short time on this earth. He was turned in to a shelter around the first of May. Someone adopted him and then returned him because he was humping their dog trying to show dominance and their dog didn't like it. So back to the shelter. Then he went to one of our foster homes and destroyed a crate then a laundry room and attacked everyone. So back to the shelter. I tried putting him in a run and he tore out the metal pieces so he is free and has a travel crate which he is sleeping in with the door open. I am just working on him feeling safe and secure and not barking incessantly when he wants something from me. I will continue to add to this description as he progresses. I find him adorable just not trained and perhaps have some separation anxiety. ##2075878##Adoption processThe adoption fee is generally based on the dog's age and provides for neutering or spaying, all required shots, heartworm testing (we endorse "the new moxie-doxy" treatment for heart worms). It is our expectation & a requirement that heartworm preventative be continued as well as any required vet visits after the pet is adopted. If for some reason a match isn't made the first time around and you are approved, we will keep your application on file for the next opportunity to arise. Our primary goal is to place a dog in the most suitable environment, based on the animal's individual needs and its temperament.
