I'm Mack, a 4-month-old, 23-pound Golden Retriever mix. My siblings and I were rescued from an Amish farm. We were living at a daycare and socializing with other dogs, but now we're at Save A Dog, playing with the volunteers and waiting for our forever homes. I'm very sweet and friendly and would love another dog to play with in my new home or puppy play dates! Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp.Adoption processAdoption fee is from $350-375 for spayed or neutered adults and $425-450 for puppies with a $50 rebate when your pup is old enough to be altered. We prefer an application prior to inviting you to come meet the dogs, but we have drop in hours during the weekend as posted on our Web site. We believe in making a match based on your application and interaction with the dog or pup and it helps if all decision makers come to the appointment to meet the dog. Our process is that once you have met the dog and both parties feel it is a good match, then you may leave a $50 deposit to hold the dog for 24 hours while we check your references and/or conduct a home visit. The deposit is nonrefundable. If you change your mind, it is used as a donation. If you continue with the adoption, the fee is deducted from your total adoption fee.
