Halo, Doberman Pinscher For Adoption In Manhattan Beach, California

Price:
$300
Location:
Manhattan Beach, CA
Description:

Meet Halo! She is a 2 month old Doberman. She is a very special puppy! We rescued her at one week old as a single pup turned into the shelter without a mom or any litter mates. We couldn’t figure out why she was turned in alone. Once we were on our way back home we discovered she was very injured and had a very large wound on one of her back legs. Its was very ugly, infected and to the bone. We rushed her to the vet and she required a lot of medical care those first few weeks of her life. She has since healed perfectly fine and she is now ready for her new home! Halo is one of those once in a life time dogs. You know the kind, they are wise beyond their years and just seem to connect with their people. They want to please you and understand what you need and how they can make you happy. She is gorgeous and sweet and loving. She has known. Nothing but goodness since we rescued her. She is working on crate training and she is doing pretty good. She will cry to let you know she needs to go outside. She has grown up with other dogs and cats. She loves people. We would prefer that Halo go to a home with another large breed male dog. She loves her foster brother and is learning so much from him. We are expecting Halo to be about 65-70 pounds as an adult. She currently weighs 13 pounds as a 2 month old pup. We will be picky about the home that we will place Halo in. She is extremely special and we have gone through a lot with her (medically) during her short life. If you think you are special enough for this pup then please apply! Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions. See our adoption policies for more details on our adoption process. If you are interested in adopting one of our available pups, please complete an adoption application. You can find the application at: https://noahs-bark.org/adoption-application. We will arrange a meet and greet with the pet with approved applications only. Please note, an approved adoption application and meet and greet does not guarantee you will be selected to adopt the pup. We do not show our dogs any other time. Please follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Noahsbarkdogrescuela.All donations to Noah's Bark are secure and tax deductible. Give a tax-deductible gift to Noah's Bark at bit.ly/NBDonate. Noah's Bark is an all-volunteer organization, 100% of your donation goes directly toward the care of the animals in our rescue.Adoption processNoah's Bark restricts pet adoptions to residences within a 30 mile radius of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals nor do we do any type of long distance adoptions. We do not adopt to persons under 21 years of age. We require prospective adopters to meet both us and the animal, fill out an application and be interviewed. Adoptions are not done a first come first serve basis. Generally, applications are accepted online, approved applications are scheduled for a private meet and greet, and applicants are selected based upon the best match of the particular pet's temperament and needs. A meet and greet does not guarantee a dog will be placed with you. If an application is approved we usually will require home check so we can ensure the animals safety. These pets are not for sale and the decision of where to place them is solely at the discretion of Noah's Bark. We reserve the right to refuse placement of our pets to any individual who does not meet our criteria. We also reserve the right to keep our reasons for refusal confidential within our organization. The welfare of our rescue animals is our top priority. There is a required tax-deductible adoption fee for each dog. The adoption fee is $300 - $400 for dogs and $500 for puppies (note some purebreds and smaller dogs may be adopted at a higher fee. Seniors and special needs pets may be adopted at a reduced fee). The adoption fee must be paid via cash, Venmo, or PayPal. A spay/neuter deposit by check is required for puppy adoptions. The adoption fee is used to help offset some of the cost needed to operate our rescue organization. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, vet checked, vaccinated and dewormed prior to placement. We have an adoption contract which requires you to return the animal to Noah's Bark if at anytime you should no longer be able to keep your pet. Pets adopted through Noah's Bark can not be sold, traded, given away or disposed of in any way. Although all of our animals are thoroughly evaluated, we cannot guarantee their health or temperament.Shelter locationWe do not hold a weekly adoption event. We arrange private meet and greets with the adoptable pet and approved adoption applications. If you are interested in one of our pups, please complete and return an adoption application and if we feel it is a fit, will contact you to arrange a meet and greet with the dog.
