CRATE TRAINING: Good. She's fed and sleeps in her crate. She requires music when crated. OTHER DOGS: Great. She is an exuberant player and requires another dog her size and energy level. CATS: NO CATS. Huskies are generally not great with cats (prey drive). CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 8 and older ADOPTION DONATION: $550 HEALTH: RENFRI is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines. Your adoption donation goes toward offsetting the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental costs of care. HISTORY: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find RENFRI a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: RENFRI VELLGA is a great girl who LOVES to play. She's sweet and sassy and requires an experienced husky owner with another dog and yard as she's been failed by others who did not provide this, prior to coming to Motley Zoo. Huskies tend to be pack animals and as a result Renfri does need another dog in the home. This also helps with her separation anxiety which is managable with crating, music and another dog. She is like the Energizer bunny, so if you hike forever or like to jog, this girl can totally keep up with you and then some! And yes she likes to GO GO GO but she can also chill chill chill but ONLY after she's gone hard. All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup! ************************ ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-powered, foster-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. WE ARE FOSTER BASED- which means: There is nowhere for you to go to see animals today. Animals are VIEWED BY APPT ONLY. No casual meetings, unless at one of our events. Animals receive one-on-one, 24/7 care in a private, volunteer foster home, which is individualized for their needs Through their foster placement, we get to know the animals well, which translates to accurate and customized matching service for you! As a private, volunteer home is involved we cannot accommodate same-day adoption meetings or surrenders. Approved applicants can meet and adopt at an event, but otherwise, an application is still required and must be approved before an animal can go home. Applications are reviewed by volunteers and take at least 3-5 business days to complete once submitted. These decisions about compatibility are NOT personal- they are based 100% on the animal's needs. If an animal is deemed "not a good fit", this is not a rejection. Rather, you simply may not be a match for that animal- but when appropriate, we will suggest a different one that suits your needs and desires better. The animals are placed based on "best match" in the "timeliest manner"- not necessarily first come, first served. If two applications are equally appropriate, the one that came in first will be considered first. If an animal is online, it is available- however, this can change from the time you inquire for an application and submit it.
