Amelia is an adorable puppy who prefers to observe the world around her before diving in. Her calm demeanor and gentle nature make her a delightful companion for anyone looking for a bit of tranquility mixed with playful charm. Despite her quiet nature, Amelia eagerly joins in games with her sisters, showing off her sweet and playful side. At night she sleeps in an x-pen with her sisters. This little girl has a fondness for tasty treats and is eager to begin learning basic commands. If you're ready to add a loving and observant puppy to your family, Amelia is eager to shower you with affection and become your new best friend! Amelia is estimated to be 9 weeks old and 8 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Please check our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/safehandsrescue/ for confirmed attendance the morning of the event.Adoption processWe only adopt out animals to homes within 60 miles of the Twin Cities. Our adoption process begins with the return of our pre-adoption form, available on our website. After reviewing your application a meeting is scheduled between you and the pup, sometimes in the fosters home or at a neutral dog friendly place. If any resident dogs are in your home, it is recommended that the pups meet at this time. After the meeting a home visit is scheduled and if everything goes well with the visit the adoption is finalized at that time. A home visit by one of Safe Hands representatives is REQUIRED prior to finalizing any adoption and we must meet all members of the household where the pup will be living sometime during the adoption process.Shelter locationCome on out and meet all of our great adoptable pups!!
