Don't let this girls size fool you - Amaya is a pint-sized play master who is ready to conquer any adventure! Despite being smaller than her two sisters, she fearlessly dives into games of tug-of-war and wrestling matches, always holding her own in the fun. Amaya's playful spirit and determination make her a joy to be around, whether she's pouncing on toys or snuggling up for a nap. She loves to nuzzle into your shoulder when being held. She sleeps in an x-pen at night. If you're looking for an outgoing companion who brings boundless energy and endless smiles, consider giving Amaya a loving forever home. Amaya is estimated to be 9 weeks old and 5 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Please check our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/safehandsrescue/ for confirmed attendance the morning of the event.Adoption processWe only adopt out animals to homes within 60 miles of the Twin Cities. Our adoption process begins with the return of our pre-adoption form, available on our website. After reviewing your application a meeting is scheduled between you and the pup, sometimes in the fosters home or at a neutral dog friendly place. If any resident dogs are in your home, it is recommended that the pups meet at this time. After the meeting a home visit is scheduled and if everything goes well with the visit the adoption is finalized at that time. A home visit by one of Safe Hands representatives is REQUIRED prior to finalizing any adoption and we must meet all members of the household where the pup will be living sometime during the adoption process.Shelter locationCome on out and meet all of our great adoptable pups!!
