Meet Lily, a spirited 12-year-old Rat Terrier with a heart full of ambition and a love for life! Despite her senior status, Lily has a zest for exploration and enjoys spending time outdoors. She is looking for a forever home where she can safely roam and bask in the sunshine. Lily would thrive in a home with a secure, fenced-in yard to keep her safe during her outdoor adventures. Lily also enjoys going for car rides, sleeping and indulging in her favorite treats. Lily is deaf, but this doesn’t seem to bother her one bit. She’s determined to do her own thing and live her life to the fullest. Her independence and determination are truly inspiring. Lily is ready to share her golden years with a family who appreciates her zest for life and can provide her with the love and care she deserves. Come meet Lily and see how she can bring warmth, joy, and companionship to your home! Lily’s adoption fee is $100 and includes first shots, worming, and sterilization. Optional microchipping and registration is available for an additional $20.00. Please fill out an adoption application at heberspringshumanesociety.com and a volunteer will contact you. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet. You must apply on our Heber Springs Humane Society website.Adoption processWe have an adoption contract and adoption fees. The fee for a dog is $100.00 and a cat is $60.00. The fee includes mandatory spay or neuter and vaccinations. If calling about an animal you may have to leave a message. Your call will be answered as soon as possible.Shelter locationOur shelter is located at 49 Shelter Lane in Heber Springs, Arkansas. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
