Meet Bernie: Name: BernieAge: 1.5 yearsWeight: 22 lbsSpayed: YesCompatibility: Great with other dogs, sometimes shy at first with new peopleBernie was rescued from a shelter and is now ready to find a loving family. Though she may be a bit shy when meeting new people, she quickly warms up and shows her affectionate side. She gets along well with other dogs, making her a wonderful companion for families with existing pets. If you’re interested in giving Bernie the home she deserves, please reach out to Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue. We will connect you with the private party looking to rehome her. Let's work together to give Bernie the loving home she's been waiting for!Adoption process1. Submit the adoption application using the following link - http://aceofhearts.wufoo.com/forms/ace-of-hearts-adoption-application/ 2. Ace of Hearts will call you for an interview 3. We'll schedule a private meet and greet or have you attend on of our adoption events 4. We'll schedule a home check (our adoption agreement must be completed in order to schedule the house check to assure that you agree with our contract) 5. If approved, we'll have you do a 3-5 day trial before you commit to adopt (dog will come with all supplies needed) 6. If all goes well, we'll finalize the adoption by giving you an adoption speech and collect the adoption fee (you will return or reimburse us for the supplies) The adoption fee is a tax-deductible $500, all dogs are current on shots, spayed/neutered and microchipped.Shelter locationWhere: Petco in West Hollywood, 508 N. Doheny West Hollywood, CA 90048 When: Three Saturdays a month (call for exact dates) If you fill out an application, we can arrange for private showings of the dog at the foster parent's home.
