Weight: 17 Lbs Adoption Fee: $175 includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! Birmingham is a senior Pug mix (possibly with Boston Terrier) who came to Furry Kids after her Dad passed away. She goes by "Birmy" and we were told she is only called her full name when she is in trouble or you need her to pay attention. Birmy is a really sweet dog but has her quirks. Birmy is in a foster home with dogs of all sizes and cats. She has always been an only dog and would probably do best as an only dog or with another low key dog. She loves her human and is very loyal to one person. She loves running and playing ball in her yard She needs a dog savvy owner that is more of a homebody. She has developed a trust of her foster Mom and has even started to snuggle with her! No children or teens for Birmy. If another dog or person rushes her or she becomes overstimulated she will give a warning snap "saying back off" but has never bitten to our knowledge. Birmy does not like to be crated and can not be crated, she was terrorized and abused in a crate as a young pup. She does ok on a leash but needs work. She needs a fenced yard. I have been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped.
