New puppy parents must be dedicated to obedience, socialization and potty training to ensure the pup grows up to be a happy and well-adjusted dog. We recommend the ENTIRE family attend puppy training classes. This ensures that all family member are using the same commands and techniques. About Australian Shepherds ☆ Loyal - They are the most loyal dogs and are stage five “clingers.” They can be susceptible to separation anxiety. But they will love you fiercely and unconditionally. ☆ Energetic – If you are active and spend time lots of time outdoors, hiking, running, etc. then Aussies may be for you. ☆ Intelligence – Australian Shepherds are incredibly smart and eager to please their owners.
