AN ENTHUSIASTIC & FUN PUPPY: Approx. 10 months old / Approx. 34 lbs. & growing Hi, my name’s Andy! Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control after I survived a house fire! By the time I became a ‘Mostly Mutt’, my skin had mostly healed which I’m thankful for. I have some scarring that will remain, and my ear will likely not extend fully – giving me a bit of that ‘eternal puppy look’. It is now time for me to find my new family, so plan to come meet me soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids at Mostly Mutts, but I am in the mouthy and jumpy stage of puppyhood, so best no toddlers that I may bump over, and of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m an energetic and fun young pup. My super sweet nature and affectionate demeanor will charm you in no time! I’m pretty smart and have impressed the volunteers with my ability to seemingly ‘walk myself’ on my leash – quite calm for such a young guy. I am super playful, however, so make time to play with me! / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer. So far, I’ve mastered the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘leave it’ and ‘drop it’ commands. I can’t wait to learn even more! I’m looking for a family that will continue teaching me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I will need you to help me with my potty training. I've been having accidents on the shelter schedule. Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I like to spend time with people and will jump with excitement when the volunteers head my way with a leash. An affectionate guy, I eagerly roll over for those great belly rubs. I enjoy toys and look forward to play time with you! / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I’m current on my immunizations, micro-chipped and neutered. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-XXXX to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care. We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot. The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org. Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
