American Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in New York, New York, 10028 USNickname: Stryker Posted Breed: Pit Bull Terrier (short coat). Stryker, born in December 2015, is now a big boy at 82 pounds. He came to rescue from Ruin Creek NC and has recovered nicely from the horrible condition we found him in: he was emaciated, needed a blood transfusion, was covered in open wounds and scars, including a large infected wound down the bridge of his nose, and a piece of his tail just fell right off! This poor boy didn't deserve the poor treatment he endured prior to rescue and we want him to be comfortable and loved for the rest of his life. Stryker loves people. He is very strong, so an adopter with large dogs would be best. His home should have a fenced-in yard and no other pets; Stryker needs to be king of his castle. He is up to date on shots and is neutered.
