Meet Baseball! This gentle pup is scared but is so loving. Hereandamp;#39;s a bit about his journey:andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;- Initially very scared, but showing more interest with each visit.andlt;br/andgt;- Responds well to treats and enrichment activities.andlt;br/andgt;- Leashes without issues, though too scared in the shelter to walk out.andlt;br/andgt;- Prefers to opt out of interactions when overwhelmed but is showing signs of curiosity.andlt;br/andgt;- More interested and even licked my hand after being left alone with enrichment for a few minutes.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Baseball is making progress but would thrive in a quiet, patient home. Slow introductions are recommended, as well as supervision with older kids until heandamp;#39;s more comfortable. Keeping a leash on him while he adjusts to his new environment will help him feel secure. Baseball is a sweet soul looking for a gentle and understanding family to help him come out of his shell.Adoption processAll adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license.
