She is mostly quiet and a little shy at first. She warms quickly to affection. She wants company, from humans and from other dogs, and is happiest when she's near her companions. She's very athletic and walks well on a leash when her energy is worn off a bit. She's lived outside in a kennel with her foster, but is very keen to be in the house, and much prefers relieving herself outside than in her kennel. Her foster mom can answer questions and tell you more about this sweet girl. Thank you so much for looking into wags and whiskers for your next family member. All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt. If you have already filled out an online adoption application with our organization in the last 6 months you do not need to fill out another application.
