King, Labrador Retriever For Adoption In Youngsville, North Carolina

Price:
$300
Location:
Youngsville, NC
Description:

This sweet, tender-hearted, loveable boy has gone from a pauper to a King!! His life has done a complete 180 since he met his foster mom! He is a very sensitive, gentle boy and will make an excellent snuggable companion! He'd be fine with other dogs in the home but would be totally fine as the only pup because he LOOOOVES attention and would love nothing more than to be your lapdog, despite his larger size. He's a hugger, and you know, "a hug a day, keeps the doctor away!" Are you ready to embrace him?? We hope you are looking for an amazing velcro-pup who just wants to be by your side. Because of this, no fence yard is needed. King should do fine in a condo, townhome or apartment. This boy is a doggie day care, play yard fan favorite. King attends doggie day care on a regular basis and gets along nicely with all the other doggos. He just has a kind personality and he's always sweet natured. If he's not going to go to doggie day care with his new family, a couple of nice daily walks will be just fine. Bonus, he walks well on a leash. King also loves going with you in the car. You may see him peak his head over the seat back and rest his chin on your shoulder. IF that doesn't melt your heart, we don't know what will; he is prescious! King is still learning to be a 100% confident in new things, so he is hesitant at first. Nothing that a little patience, high value treats and love won't help. He doesn't love loud and unepexted noises, so an active home wouldn't be ideal for him. He'd be great as an only dog; just being loyal and loveable! As part of King’s $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little boy, you can email XXXX@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt King, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.##2073104##Adoption process1. Review the description of the pet you are interested in to make sure that the information we have fits with your particular needs and desires. In most cases, the information on the website is current and gives the information that we have about the particular pet. The picture of the pet does not tell the whole story. 2. Complete the adoption application. Please make sure that you give us as much information about yourself as you can. List all animals currently living with you including other dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rodents. The application needs to be complete in order to help us determine if the pet you have chosen is a good match for your home. http://pawsforlifenc.org/pet-adoptions/apply-for-adoption/ 3. Once the application is submitted we will contact you, your references, and your vet. 4. We require a home visit prior to dog adoptions. 5. If more than one person applies, we will go with the BEST fit. If all things are equal, we go in the order the applications were received. 6. Once the home visit has been completed, you will be asked to complete an adoption agreement. 7. An adoption fee of $275 for dogs under 6 months $250 for 6 months and older and $95 for cats, Senior Cats $50. This fee helps us to provide the necessary medical care and other needs for the pets while in foster care. 8. All Paws For Life pets are spayed or neutered if old enough, current on shots, micro chipped, and to our knowledge, in good health before they are adopted out. Puppies under 6 months of age will require a $100 spay/neuter deposit in addition to the adoption fee and a special puppy spay/neuter agreement. We are all volunteers and receive no monetary compensation for our work with the pets. The adoption fee is used to help defray costs in the rescue and care of the pets. 9. Congratulations! You are on your way to having your new companion. We hope that you and your new companion share a life of love and happiness. We welcome any comments you may wish to give us about your pet at any time.Shelter locationOur cats are on display in the Knightdale, Brier Creek, and Wake Forest Petco's.
