This adorable pup is Darling. She is a 9-month-old terrier mix and weighs 25 lb. She is about done growing. Darling is a sweet and shy little pup who welcomes all the comfort that she can get. Darling appears to lack a lot of confidence and will crawl over to any new people she meets with a tucked tail and lowered posture. Despite her timidness, she is still willing to make new friends and crawl right into their lap. Once outside, Darling really finds her feet and starts to explore with a bit more confidence. She is a gentle puppy who is treat motivated but the one thing she truly wants is to be loved on and cuddled by people. Darling would benefit from a patient and gentle approach when helping her adjust into a new home. She needs lots of encouragement and can be sensitive to any type of verbal correction or words. Darling would do great in a home with someone who is willing to take her on and really help her come out of her shell, which she gives glimpses of at the shelter. She would do great with children of all ages and would love to have a confident dog friend to show her the ropes. We can "cat test" her if needed but we expect she would be fine with a cat in the home. Darling is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. Her adoption fee is $395.
