Meet precious PIPPA ! She’s very yellow lab like with a little extra thrown in - minus the lab chew and destroy part lol ! We saved Pippa and her sister Palmer a few weeks ago from a small shelter outside Atlanta. A few days in, Palmer ( who was 5 lbs heavier ) started acting lethargic - our worst fear. The pups had been dewormed at the shelter and then again with our stronger meds. Palmer died the next day not of parvo, but most likely a massive load of hookworms. This happened with another pup this spring. We mainly see it with country dogs we save, who have been on their own. But Pippa is healthy as can be ! No patasites, no parvo and just a snuggly bundle of love ready to be loved the rest of her life! Pippa is around 12 weeks and 13 pounds.
